Connect the business behind the booking

For a tour operator or destination management company, sales, operations and customer communication depend on shared facts. Tour details, customer questions, documents and next actions need to remain connected as work changes hands.

KEIZEN Consulting helps travel businesses review that operating journey before choosing a platform or automating individual tasks. The starting point is one important constraint, such as a difficult handover, inconsistent information or follow-up that is hard to see.

Build from official information

A clear tour record gives the team a reliable source for agreed dates, inclusions and requirements. We review who owns the record, who can change it and how updates reach the people communicating with customers.

Customer records then need to preserve context through enquiry, booking and follow-up. A proposed workflow should identify the current status, next action and responsible person, with a way to handle missing information and exceptions.

Turn the process into an implementation plan

A focused engagement can include a journey map, record definitions, handover requirements, document and reminder rules, a reporting framework and a staged automation plan. The agreed outputs depend on the business and the information available.

Tool selection follows those requirements. We review how the existing booking, CRM, email or spreadsheet environment can support the process before recommending a change. Software subscriptions, access ownership and ongoing support should be explicit in the proposal.

Use evidence to decide what comes next

Possible baseline measures include outstanding follow-ups, completeness of records, movement from enquiry to booking and feedback coverage. These are candidate measures to agree with the business, not results claimed for KEIZEN clients.

Our anonymous travel operations strategy example shows the sequence behind this approach. It describes proposed systems and includes a reusable review pathway; it does not present a completed deployment as a proven case study.

Start with a bounded review

The scope and pricing depend on the number of journeys, the current information structure, the integrations and whether implementation is included. A review of one journey can come before a larger system project.
